Meet Byrd, Author, Business Coach and Consultant, Retired Nurse, Homeschooling mom, Wife and Serial Entrepreneur. Byrd, known as Author Blackbyrd in the book industry, was born and raised in Flint Michigan by a mother who was only 14 years old than her. Growing up with one parent who sold drugs, another parent who was addicted to them and many other life challenges, Byrd learned early on that life is what you make it and to live in your purpose. Instead of allowing her environment to mold her future, Byrd left Flint at the age of 19 and created her own destiny, refusing to become another statistic. Now married with a daughter, byrd resides in Detroit, Michigan with more than 20 books under her belt and a successful business consulting company.

Byrd is known as “The Jill of All Genres” because she is currently writing in just about every genre you can think of.
